Communion Bread
It is such a blessing to make this bread for a communion service.

1 cup whole wheat flour
2 cups white flour
1 ¼ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
¾ cup plus 2 Tablespoons very hot water
3 Tablespoons honey
3 Tablespoons molasses

Mix dry ingredients. Cut oil into mixture. Mix water, honey and molasses and add to dry ingredients. If too sticky, add a bit more flour
Divide dough into 4 portions. Roll 1 at a time into ¼ inch thick rectangles (6 to 8 inches)

Bake rectangles for 8 – 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and brush with oil. Bake 5 more minutes and remove to rack to cool.

Cut into small pieces when cool. Makes enough for four bags of 125 pieces each. Freeze until ready to use.
